RAF Equality and Diversity (E&D) and the LGBT Workstrand -
how the RAF engages with its gay front line

In order to support their development of the most appropriate personnel policy and E&D strategy as it affects the RAF's lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transsexual (LGBT) community, Policy E&D staff meet regularly with the LGBT Forum on a consultative basis; a mark of the Service's commitment to supporting its LGBT personnel. The meetings enable E&D staff to engage directly with the LGBT community, thereby improving Policy staffs ability to understand and deal with any community-specific areas of concern.
